Description
You’re here because you want to improve your playing, improve your sense of rhythm. Maybe you’re just getting started with playing piano, playing the guitar or drums.
Maybe you’ve
taught yourself,
already have a music instructor or
have taken an online course to get you to where you are now.
By the end of this course, you’ll have the musical skills to improve your sense of rhythm. You’ll be sight-reading, clapping, drumming, conducting (yes, you’ll be conducting an orchestra – no big deal), and playing polyrhythms with me.
The next few lessons will give you the basic musical skills musicians use to improve their sense of rhythm.
We’re going to be going over things like basic note values, time signatures, how to feel the beat and how to play in time.
So if you don’t know what I’m talking about don’t worry, I’ll be teaching you step-by-step.
If, on the other hand, you’re a seasoned musician already, you might like to use this course as a refresher. Or you may want to skip to the end, where we learn to play a two-part polyrhythm.
One of the features of this course is that you don’t need any equipment or even an instrument because we’ll be using things from around the house or just clapping to practice rhythm.
I’ve done this so you’ll grasp the basics of rhythm much more quickly and without distraction. Then you can easily take this knowledge and apply it to your own instrument – any instrument
Who this course is for
