Description
This course is aimed at English language learners for whom English is a second language. It is particularly targeted at beginners or students that have a very basic understanding of the language. The course is made up of short video lessons and students can practice each new sound (and words) and find other examples to extend their learning. I would advise students to watch the videos several times so that they become familiar with the sounds that are being explained and demonstrated. I have also added some additional learning resources, such as sample vocabulary sheets for each video lesson and a phonemic language chart that the students can refer to and use throughout their learning. All students should practice using the words mentioned in the video and make recordings of themselves to measure their improvement. If students follow this course, and use the resources that are included, they will benefit from a marked improvement in their spoken English and English comprehension as a whole. Please note that this course is specifically British English. Although any students who plan to study or live in other English-speaking countries such as the USA, Canada, Australia or New Zealand, will also benefit from this course. At the end of the course, all students will be issued with a certificate of completion.
