Description:
Hello and welcome to my new course ‘The Complete Beginners Guide. Redis NoSQL server’.You already know that in this information technology age ‘data’ is everything. And a Database is the place where this information is stored in either tables or documents depending on the type of database. There are two types of database. A structured database and also there is an unstructured or no-sql kind of database. We will see the NoSQL kind of database in this course. And a popular one among the NoSQL databases is the Redis server. Here is an overview about the sessions that are included in this course. In the first session, we will have an introduction to types of databases. The Relational DB vs non Relational DB. Then in the next session we will have an introduction to Redis Server. Then we will see an overview of different data types in Redis Server. Later We will see how we can setup the free redis cloud database and then install the free redis insight client into your computer and then connect it with the redis cloud database. Now we can proceed with the basic data types and their operations in redis more elaborately. We will start with Redis Strings and their operations. Later we will move on to Redis Lists and after that the Redis Hash. We will see the structure and all the popular operations with these data types. After Hash, we will try the Redis List and Redis Set data types. Then the Redis Sorted set and its operations. Finally we will see the advanced datatypes like Redis Time Series data type and then the Redis Json data types. We will see the possible options and operations with these datatypes. In the last session, I included an exercise for you to try and the answer to refer later after you try.And that’s all about the topics which are currently included in this quick course. The sample database and the materials have been uploaded and shared in a folder. I will include the link to download them in the last session or the resource section of this course. You are free to use that with no questions asked. Also, after completing this course, you will be provided with a course completion certificate which will add value to your portfolio. So that’s all for now.
