This course is guaranteed to get you score 7+ in Writing Task 1 Academic Module.
It will teach you what to write, how to write and when to write it.
First you will learn general information about Task 1, the types of graphs and requirements of the test.
Then you will get acquainted with the vocabulary and grammar you need for the test. Each type of visual requires specific vocabulary to be used and that’s exactly what you’ll find here. As for the grammar, you will learn about verb forms, nouns, different phrases and grammar patterns you will need for description.
The next section deals with the organization of your writing. Here you will find out about how to build and organize sentences in a report. You will learn that the organization depends on the type of data you are provided with.
Finally, the last section deals with sample reports for each type of task, from line graph to diagram description. You will be shown specific steps for writing a report and a checklist to see whether your response meets the grading criteria.
