Did you know it’s easy to bake beautiful and delicious bread at home?In this course, you will learn to bake rustic, traditional bread as we do it here in Austria (and in the southern regions of Germany). Our bread is famous all over the world and if you have always wanted to know how it is made, then this is the course for you.I learned these traditional recipes from my grandmother when I was a kid, and I have been baking bread ever since. Baking bread is easy, you only need a handful of ingredients, and I am pretty sure you already have all the equipment you need at home.This class is great for beginners and advanced bakers alike.We will bake two different types of bread together:The first bread is a simple and delicious yeast bread. In this part, you will learn all the basics of bread baking – and some of my personal tips and tricks.The second bread will be a loaf of sourdough bread. You will learn how to make your own sourdough starter and how to apply all the techniques you learned during the first part.I’ll also share some ideas for you to experiment with, and I’ll share all the tips and tricks I have learned over the years.If you have any questions, please post them in the comments section. I’ll try to help as much as I can.
