In this course we will understand the different concepts of IP Addressing and Subnetting in a very easy way. We will start from basics of IP addressing and after understanding the concepts of IP addressing, in between we will also understand the binary representation of IP version 4 addresses and how to convert decimal to binary and binary numbers to decimal then we will move to Subnetting part where we will first understand what is Subnetting, why Subnetting is very important, what id CIDR (Classless Inter Domain Routing), what are the CIDR ranges for different classes of IP version 4 addresses, how to create subnets using FLSM (Fixed Length Subnet Mask) Subnetting where we will create subnets for Class C, Class B and Class A Network addresses. we will also understand the concepts of VLSM (Variable Lengths Subnet Mask) Subnetting in which we will cover, what is VLSM and what are the advantages of VLSM over FLSM. Then we will create subnets using Variable Lengths Subnet Mask for small to large networks or address pools.
