– OpenBuildings Speedikon CONNECT Edition Update 4.2 includes the full MicroStation CONNECT Edition Update 17.2 functionality except for the Technology Preview Features
Fixes in
IFC Export
– Fixed file-specific IFC export issues that caused Speedikon to close
Drawing Module
– Insert DGN file in the drawing module works again with full functionality
– Fixed file-specific issues when editing drawing files that caused Speedikon to close
Security Improvements
– This release also includes the latest Speedikon and MicroStation security improvements. The details will be found on our Trust Center website under Security > Common Vulnerability Exposure (CVE) Program.
ProjectWise CONNECT Edition Support
– OpenBuildings Speedikon CONNECT Edition Update 4.2 is compatible with ProjectWise CONNECT Edition Update 3.4 and Update 4. ProjectWise CONNECT Edition Update 4 is not yet released.
Deprecated Features
– AWM opening elements created with the Window Designer add-on module are no longer displayed. The program files needed for this no longer meet current security requirements.
– [DIN] Deutschland dataset: The parameter dialog boxes of opening elements that originally belonged to the Swiss data set are no longer displayed with the graphical interface, but only with the tabular interface. The program files required for this no longer meet the current security requirements.
– [MET] Neutral Metric dataset: The parameter dialog boxes of macros are no longer displayed with the graphical interface, but only with the tabular interface. The program files required for this no longer meet current security requirements.
